Growatt batteries come in two voltage classes, and the inverter decides which one you need.

What does "battery-ready" mean on the MIN XH-US?

The MIN XH-US works as a normal grid-tie inverter on day one. You can add a Growatt APX battery and a backup box later to get backup power, without replacing the inverter.

What is the difference between Growatt grid-tie, hybrid and off-grid inverters?

Grid-tie inverters (MIN XH-US) send solar power to your home and the grid. Hybrid inverters (SPH) do the same and also charge a battery that keeps your power on in an outage. Off-grid inverters (SPE, SPF) run your home with no utility connection at all, from panels, a battery and optionally a generator.

What warranty do Growatt products have?

The MIN XH-US and SPH inverters carry a 10-year Growatt warranty, and the MIN XH-US can be extended to 15 or 20 years. The SPE off-grid inverters carry 5 years. APX and ALP batteries carry 10 years.
