The Hoymiles HMS-2000 series microinverters are designed for high-powered solar panels and are among the top-performing 4-in-1 microinverters available. Each microinverter can connect up to four solar modules with independent MPPT and monitoring, allowing maximum energy production. With a maximum DC voltage of 65V, the HMS-2000 series is compatible with 78/156-cell modules commonly used in the Canadian climate.
The HMS-1600 microinverter is fully PV Rapid Shutdown compliant and conforms with NEC-2017 and NEC-2020 Article 690.12, as well as the Canadian CEC-2021 Section 64-218. The upgraded Sub-1G wireless communication system provides stronger and more stable connectivity with the Hoymiles DTU Pro S gateway, offering better performance than conventional 2.4GHz Zigbee solutions, especially in long-distance or commercial installations.
